Bollywood superstar Salman Khan faces another serious threat. A fresh death threat, demanding a ransom of Rs 2 crore, has emerged. The message, sent to Mumbai Traffic Police, warned that if the ransom isn’t paid, the actor will face serious consequences.
In response to the new threat, the Mumbai Police launched an active investigation. After receiving the message, officers from the Worli district filed a case and quickly began efforts to identify the person responsible.
Surge in Threats Worries Salman Khan’s Fans
Earlier, Salman had received a similar threat. That message demanded Rs 5 crore, which the police traced back to Shaikh Hussain Shaikh Mausin, a vegetable seller from Jamshedpur. Authorities arrested him soon after. This series of threats has heightened concerns about Salman’s safety, worrying both his family and fans.
Recently, authorities also arrested Mohammad Tayyab in Noida. He had issued threats to Salman Khan and Zeeshan Siddique, the son of the late Baba Siddique, adding to the growing list of alarming incidents.
Possible Involvement of Lawrence Bishnoi?
Though this latest threat came from an unknown source, it has once again raised questions about Lawrence Bishnoi. Known for sending threats to Salman Khan, Bishnoi has a longstanding dispute with the actor. This dispute traces back to an alleged blackbuck hunting incident in Rajasthan, an act offensive to the Bishnoi community. Bishnoi once demanded that Salman apologize at their temple. However, as this apology never occurred, it reportedly fueled Bishnoi’s anger even further.
Case Filed Under Indian Penal Code
The Mumbai Police have registered the latest case under sections 354(2) and 308(4) of the Indian Penal Code. They remain committed to identifying the individual behind the threat and are taking further steps to enhance Salman Khan’s security.
With threats against Salman Khan showing no signs of slowing, fans continue to express deep concerns for his safety. Meanwhile, the actor’s supporters are calling for increased police efforts to secure his well-being during this challenging time.
