The big problem with experimental films is that it is a kind of gamble, so the dangers that Rajamouli took in India are rare. So this time the risk was taken on the movie which was already made in Germany, ‘Run Lola Run’. The story was an official remake, so there was no problem with the story, yet the director had to hire four writers to properly adapt the story to the Indian environment, so the backdrop Goa was chosen so that there would be no problem in retaining the foreign style. But in spite of this, many times you feel that it is a crap movie, get up, stop… then it seems that somewhere, let’s see what happens in the climax. You may find this movie to be rubbish in the middle, the reason is its title- ‘Loop Lapeta’, now it can be understood in detail only after watching the movie.
The story is about a girl Savi (Taapsee Pannu) who tries to get her average idiot boy friend Satya out of a strange ‘time bound’ difficulty. That is, if 50 lakh rupees are not arranged in 50 minutes, then they will be in trouble. It is a very simple story of such a line, but the loop that is wrapped in it seems that you will have to face every incident many times.
So there is nothing in the story, but the characters are enough, Savi has a father who is gay, a taxi driver Robert, whose girlfriend Julia is getting married, a police inspector who comes in Savi’s way every time. There is a jeweler whose two sons want to rob their own father shop, there is a don who gives 50 rupees to Satya.

On 3.5 star, first Taapsee Pannu, second – connecting it with the youth and third trying to give more ‘visual experience’ than the story, so a lot of hard work has been done on editing and cinematography. But the general audience hardly liked it. Many people can leave this movie even within half an hour because the scenes have been composed in such a way, which does not even seem like a situational comedy. In such a situation, it seems that the film has become a khichdi in the process of making an Indian remake.
So if you like experiments, want to watch something different, are a fan of Taapsee Pannu then this movie is for you. You don’t take risk, but seeing this movie, it definitely seems that Taapsee too is in a mood to do more experimentation films like Kangana.
You may not want to see this film on loop, but it definitely is a one time watch.
