Love Sex Aur Dhokha 2 Review: The film ‘Love Sex Aur Dhokha 2’ is directed by Dibakar Banerjee, who previously directed ‘Love Sex Aur Dhokha’, the first sequel, for Ekta Kapoor’s other firm, Alt Entertainment. “Love Sex Aur Dhokha 2” contains three distinct stories. To be in love is to be loved. Nowadays, people share sex. Downloading is also dishonest. This film dives deep into the online world and tells people about the secrets and important information about this world. The performances of Uorfi Javed and Mouni Roy impressed everyone.
Story
‘Love Sex Aur Dhokha 2’s’ opening tale centres on a transgender person on a reality show meant to boost viewership. In the second narrative, a transgender employee works for a company that serves the metro, her partner, and his employer. Furthermore, the third chapter sheds light on the original persona and the clothing of virtual reality. It is Dibakar Banerjee’s infatuation with unidentified faces. The cast is varied. The film includes Anu Malik, Sophie Choudhary, Mouni Roy, Uorfi Javed, Tusshar Kapoor, and Swarupa Ghosh.
Performance
To their eternal credit, the three newcomers delivered polished performances; but, the director and workshops must have had a part as well. As the emcee, Mouni Roy is appropriately restrained, and only Anu Malik—credited in the movie as Anu Sardar Malik—makes an impression since he gets to act out some hilarious sequences. In the little video that is available, Swastika Mukherjee looks good, and the rest of the ensemble is passable.
The film fails to impress
More than anything else, the kinky style of narration gives you a headache. Forget about satisfaction, education, or elevation of any type. It’s utterly insane, yet it’s methodless! Dibakar Banerjee is merely showcasing his unique and inventive qualities. However, going to the movies, where one has to pay for a ticket, is by no means the place to inflict such “dhokha” on the people who are going to watch his extravagant cinema. Dibakar’s efforts as a director are admirable since they attempt to produce something that viewers of his previous films could never hope to fathom. This movie is unsettling.
If we talk about songs, Sunidhi Chauhan does a good job with “Gandi taal,” yet by mainstream standards, it is ‘filthy’. However, people will adore the attention-driven song “Kamsin Kali” because of its eerie interlude, folk melody music, and witty lyrics.
