Dev D actor Mahie Gill has surprised everyone with her wedding news. Mahie on Tuesday confirmed that she is secretly married to her longtime partner and entrepreneur Ravi Kesar. The duo tied the knot a while ago, and Mahi has even shifted her base from Mumbai to Goa.
Mahie Gill reveals ‘I’m married’
Actress Mahie Gill confirmed her marriage to Ravi Kesar in a recent interview. Speaking to Hindustan Times, Mahie talked about Ravi and said, “I’m married to him”.
She further added, “There are personal reasons as to why I didn’t post Veronica’s picture on social media. I’m a very private and shy person and there are a lot of things that have happened in my life which have never come out in public.”
It remains unknown as to when Mahie and Ravi the knot. The two had shared screen space in the 2019 series, Fixerr.
When Mahie Gill said ‘why do I need to be married?”
In an interview in 2019, Mahie told a Hindi daily, “Why do I need to get married? I am happy like this (single) and I think one can stay happily unmarried. One can have a family and kids even without marriage. I do not think we need marriage for kids and a family. Marriage is a beautiful thing but whether or not to go for it, is a personal choice.”
Meanwhile, on the work front, Mahie Gill is known for her performance in films like Dev D, Dabangg, Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster, Durgamati, and others.

Mahie Gill welcomed her daughter in August 2016. Amid rumours that the actor had her daughter via surrogacy, Mahie in 2019 revealed that she gave birth to her daughter in 2016 and incidentally she did not have any projects then. So no one could see my baby bump, she added.
