MBC New Drama Big Mouth: Drama name ‘Big Mouth,’ starring Lee Jong Suk and YoonA from Girls’ Generation, is breaking new grounds! ‘Big Mouth’ aired its fifth and sixth episodes this week, on August 12 and 13, respectively. Each of the two new episodes, the thriller drama set new personal total viewers records.

As per Nielsen Korea, ‘Big Mouth’ recorded an average nationwide viewing figures rating of 9.8 percent with its fifth episode, setting a new personal all-time high for the drama.

New peak

Further, the Lee Jong Suk and YoonA starrer reached a new peak with the very next episode! With its sixth episode, which aired on August 13, ‘Big Mouth’ successfully broke into the double digit ratings. With its recent episode, the MBC drama achieved an average worldwide rating of 10.8 percent, not only up from the previous episode, but also busting into the double digit ratings for the first time and achieving a new personal record.

The plot

MBC’s new drama stars Lee Jong Suk as Park Chang Ho, YoonA from Girls’ Generation as Go Mi Ho, and Kim Joo Hun as Choi Do Ha. Park Chang Ho, an underachieving lawyer, becomes engaged in a murder case in the thriller drama. The same thing turns him into a brilliant scam artist recognised as ‘Big Mouse’ overnight. What follows is his journey into a massive conspiracy among some of the wealthy upper class, as he tries to survive and protect his family.

The first episode of the show aired on July 29. ‘Big Mouth’ has managed to increase its nationwide average viewership ratings with each new episode over the last four episodes.
