New Delhi: A surprising revelation from a royal specialist claims that Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex, has asked King Charles III for a meeting before she leaves for her California home. The Duchess of Sussex intends to bring up the significant royal issue at the meeting. According to YouTuber Neil Sean, Ms. Markle wants to have a conversation with the 73-year-old queen to clear the air. Meghan made a “really bold step,” according to Mr. Sean.
Meghan Markle to meet Prince Charles
At the time of Queen Elizabeth II’s death, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle happened to be in Europe for charity engagements. The couple were able to participate in some of the events held in her honor.
Now, according to one royal commentator, the Duchess of Sussex is attempting to build bridges.
“She’d now like before they return back to California to have a one-to-one audience with King Charles III,” royal reporter Neil Sean said, according to OK!. Apparently, the duchess addressed a letter to the new monarch to request said audience. “That’s right—Meghan one-to-one with King Charles. You heard correct,” Sean continued. “It’s a very brave move from Meghan herself.”
Apparently, “it would be an opportunity to clear the air, pull the rights from wrongs and explain some of the rationale behind what they’ve been doing over the last two years,” Sean continued.
He added, “According to that good source, this [request] was made in a formal letter; this is how you write to the King, through his equerry and then, of course, that’s passed on etc.”
“Basically according to this letter, she feels it would be an opportunity to clear the air, sort the rights from wrongs and explain some of the rationales behind what they’ve been doing over the last two years,” Mr Sean said.
“Truthfully, we have no idea whether this is going to go forwards… But I think it’s a very brave move for Meghan,” the commentator said in the video.
