Baap Of All Films: Mithun Chakraborty, Jackie Shroff, Sanjay Dutt and Sunny Deol have come together for “Baap of all films”, an action thriller and the viewers are not complaining as they will get to see an 80s reunion. The quartet that dominated the 1980s and 1990s, broke the Internet on Wednesday when they announced their new film.
The actors shared the first-look poster from the yet-to-be-titled film. Sanjay Dutt wrote, “Baap Of All Films. Shoot dhamaal, dosti bemisaal.”
Chaar yaar
In the poster, Mithun Chakraborty is seen wearing a dark shirt, jeans, a sleeveless brown jacket and a green beret cap. Sunny Deol, sitting next to him, looks like a prisoner in orange and white attire. Sanjay Dutt is dressed in a black T-shirt, jeans and a brown jacket. Apna bhidu Jackie Shroff is seen sporting his signature handkerchief.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh has called the untitled film an action-entertainer. Vivek Chauhan, assistant director in movies such as Highway and Tanu Weds Manu: Returns, is the director. The film is being co-produced by Zee Studios, Ahmed Khan and his wife Shaira Ahmed Khan.

Earlier, Jackie Shroff had shared a picture with Mithun and Sanjay to make the announcement. He wrote, “Jahan chaar yaar mil jaaye….arre chautha kidhar hain bhidu….. @duttsanjay @mithunchakrabortyofficial ?
Screen space
Mithun Chakraborty has worked with Jackie Shroff and Sunny Deol and Sanjay Dutt earlier too in different films. Mithun and Jackie were seen together in films like Shapath, Ganga Ki Kasam, Yamraaj and Phool Aur Aag.
Mithun shared screen space with Sanjay Dutt in Luck, Ilaaka and Jeete Hain Shaan Se, among others while he worked with Sunny Deol in 2008 film Heroes.
Director Vivek Chauhan started shooting the film in June this year. It will release sometime in 2023.
