Bollywood’s beloved couple, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh, who are eagerly awaiting the arrival of their first child, recently stepped out to catch a screening of the highly praised film, Kalki 2898 AD, on Tuesday night. Social media buzzed with pictures and videos of the duo, although they arrived at the theatre separately.
Deepika’s Chic Arrival
Deepika Padukone, exuding her signature charm, was seen stepping out of her car, smiling, and mouthing “thank you” to those around. She sported a casual yet stylish look with a white T-shirt under a black blazer, paired with cropped blue denims. Completing her outfit, she wore glasses, carried a chic bag, and donned white sneakers. Deepika took a moment to pose for the paparazzi before heading inside the theatre.
Ranveer’s Grand Entrance
Ranveer Singh made a striking entrance, greeting fans and paparazzi with his usual energy. Dressed in an all-black ensemble—comprising a T-shirt, cape, pants, shoes, cap, and sunglasses—he waved and smiled for the cameras. Ranveer was also seen politely asking the paparazzi to clear the way. Shortly after, his mother Anju Bhavnani and sister Ritika Bhavnani joined him at the venue.
Ranveer’s Rave Review of Kalki 2898 AD
Post the screening, Ranveer Singh shared his thoughts on Kalki 2898 AD via Instagram Stories. He praised the film, calling it “a grand cinematic spectacle” and highlighted its technical brilliance, noting it as “the very best in Indian cinema.” He congratulated director Nag Ashwin and the entire team for their efforts. Ranveer also commended the performances of Prabhas, Kamal Haasan, and Amitabh Bachchan, adding a special note about Deepika Padukone, lauding her grace and power on screen.
Kalki 2898 AD: A Cinematic Marvel
Directed by Nag Ashwin, Kalki 2898 AD is a 3D sci-fi extravaganza with a reported budget of ₹600 crore. The film features an ensemble cast including Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Disha Patani, Saswata Chatterjee, and Shobhana. The movie, a fusion of the Hindu epic Mahabharata and science fiction, was released globally on June 27 in multiple languages: Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, Hindi, and English. Produced by Vyjayanthi Movies, the film has been making waves with its innovative concept and star-studded lineup.

Both Deepika and Ranveer have an exciting project lined up: they will be seen together in Singham Again, set to release in theatres on November 1. The film boasts a stellar cast including Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor, Tiger Shroff, and Jackie Shroff, and is the fifth installment in Rohit Shetty’s cinematic cop universe.
