Movie trailer: Just before James Gunn and Peter Safran unveil their upcoming lineup of movies for the DC Universe, Ezra Miller’s superhero is set to grace the screens one last time. Warner Bros has recently unveiled the ultimate trailer for the highly anticipated summer blockbuster, ‘The Flash.’ Serving as the first standalone film for the iconic speedster, the movie cleverly incorporates elements from the 2011 crossover comic ‘Flashpoint,’ promising an explosive conclusion to the current era of DC films.
About ‘Flash’
Barry Allen, also known as The Flash, utilizes his superhuman abilities to travel through time, hoping to alter the past and prevent a tragedy from befalling his loved ones. However, his actions inadvertently lead to catastrophic consequences, trapping him in an alternate universe where General Zod resurfaces and poses a global threat. Faced with a dire situation, The Flash joins forces with two versions of Batman, portrayed by Michael Keaton and Ben Affleck, along with Supergirl, portrayed by Sasha Calle, in a desperate mission to defeat Zod and restore order to the world.
The initial part of ‘The Flash’ at its premiere during CinemaCon this year was incredibly positive, fueling the already heightened anticipation among the audience. James Gunn, known for his discerning taste, has openly declared ‘The Flash’ as one of the finest superhero films he has ever witnessed, adding considerable weight to the film’s acclaim.

The latest trailer of the film emphasizes states that “worlds will collide,” and “the future begins,” indicating that it serves as a grand finale and culmination of DC’s on-screen heroes from various decades. Take a final glimpse at the upcoming film in the trailer below before it hits theaters this summer.
Joining Ezra Miller, Michael Keaton, Ben Affleck, and Sasha Calle in the film are Ron Livingston as Henry Allen, Maribel Verdú as Nora Allen, Kiersey Clemons as Iris West, and Antje Traue as Faora-Ul. Notably, Jeremy Irons is also reprising his role as Batman’s trusted butler Alfred Pennyworth, who was last seen in “Justice League” as part of the Snyderverse. Could there be more surprises in store? While it would be exciting to see other characters from Keaton’s Batman era, it is unlikely that someone like Michelle Pfeiffer had the opportunity to don her Catwoman suit while filming for “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.”
