Woman claims her husband killed Satish Kaushik
While the preliminary report said the actor died of a cardiac arrest, his death case is now being probed with a fresh angle. A Delhi woman named Sanvi, who claims to be Satish Kaushik’s friend Vikas Maalu’s wife, has alleged that her husband killed the actor after a feud related to money. She has written to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Delhi Police Commissioner Sanjay Arora to further investigate the case with a murder angle, alleging her husband could be responsible for Satish Kaushik’s sudden death. In her letter, she has claimed that her husband and Satish Kaushik were loggerheads with each other after the former took Rs 15 crore from the actor for investment purpose.
Sanvi said that Vikas and Satish Kaushik were close pals who frequently visited each other. However, things turned sour between the two after the businessman failed in returning actor’s money that he had loaned for an investment. She further revealed that Satish and her husband also had a fight in Dubai in 2022 over the same issue.
“I was present in the drawing room where both Kaushik and my husband got involved in an argument. Kaushik was saying that he was in dire need of money and it has been three years since he gave Rs 15 crore to my husband for investment purpose. Kaushik also said that neither any investment was made nor his money was returned for which he was feeling cheated,” read the complaint.
‘My husband killed Satish Kaushik with drugs’
The woman further said that her husband told Kaushik that the payment was made in advance and hence there was no proof of it. However, he said that
“Then I heard Kaushik telling my husband that he had given him a promissory note. Now I read the news of Kaushik’s death. I fully suspect that it was my husband who along with his aides conspired and murdered Kaushik with drugs so that he doesn’t have to return the money,” the complaint read.
