In a shocking turn of events, Bollywood actor Ananya Panday’s house was raided by Narcotics Control Bureau(NCB), extending their search in Bollywood drug case. The raid came a day after a Mumbai court rejected Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aaryan Khan’s bail plea in cruise drug case.
Ananya Panday, who made her Bollywood debut with Karan Johar directorial Student of the year 2, was also called by the anti-drug agency.
Ananya Panday has reportedly asked her team not to commit to any shoots for the next few days, keeping in mind that she might be summoned by the NCB again.
Ananya Panday’s father Chunky Panday and her family are viewing the NCB summons as regular interrogation, some media reports said. They are also ready to support and provide any information that is required by the NCB.
Meanwhile, the actor has reportedly asked her team not to commit to any shoots for the next few days, keeping in mind that she might be summoned by the NCB again.
According to NCB sources, two more actors are under the scanner based on WhatsApp chats recovered from Aryan Khan’s mobile phone.
Between Wednesday evening and Thursday morning, the NCB conducted searches at four more locations in Mumbai in connection with the cruise drug case.
The NCB has called actor Ananya Panday for another round of questioning at 11 am on Friday. Her phone data is likely to be examined.
