Varun Dhawan: The two-day opening of the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Venture (NMACC) in Mumbai was a grand affair. Presence of top notch celebrities added just the right amount of glitz and glamour to the occasion. The first day saw many noted celebs marking their presence. Gigi Hadid to Alia Bhatt, Tom Holland and Zendaya to deepika Padukone-Ranveer Singh were seen rubbing shoulder at the Ambani event.
Many celebrities regaled the gathing with their stellar performances. Actor Varun Dhawan performed on day 2 of the NMACC opening. The Bollywood star put up a show with his electrifying performance and danced on popular Hindi songs.
But what caught eyeballs was his act with American supermodel Gigi Hadid. A video gone viral on social media shows Varun lifting Gigi in his arms, twirling her and kissing her on the cheek before she goes off stage. Many of them expressed shock at Varun’s behavior and said it was embarrassing to watch him kissing Gigi Hadid.

During his performance, Varun Dhawan invited Gigi Hadid on stage and extended his arm to her. As she took his hand, Varun lifted her in his arms and twirled her. He hten planted a small peck on her cheek before she went off the stage.
Dressed in a heavily embellished golden blouse and an ivory saree, Gigi looked stunning. While many praised Varun for his energy, some netizens raised an eyebrow over him lifting Gigi and kissing her.
Netizens react to viral video
The video of Varun Dhawan and Gigi Hadid on stage went viral on social media quickly. Gigi arrived in India especially to attend the NMACC opening. Reacting to the clip, one social media user wrote, “Even gave her a peck on the cheek. Imagine gigi Kitni uncomfortable hogi (sic).” Another one commented, “Uncomfortable feel kra dia bechari ko (sic).”
Later, Varun also performed with Ranveer Singh on stage. He also invited rapper and singer AP Dhillon to the stage for his performance.
