Netizens slam Boney Kapoor for holding Gigi Hadid’s ‘thin waist’: ‘If budhape mein jawani…’

The Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre launch event was a gala affair with celebs gathering in flock from across the world. Gigi Hadid was also in Mumbai to attend the launch in a stunning saree. Apart from her head turning outfit, Gigi has been in spotlight for her dance with Varun Dhawan which left internet divided. A picture of Gigi Hadid posing with Boney Kapoor has gone viral which shows him holding her tight by waist. While Gigi happily poses for the lenses, Boney is caught candid as he looks at the supermodel. Gigi though has put on a happy face for the picture, netizens are now mocking the filmmaker for holding the supermodel’s waist.

Gigi Hadid and Varun Dhawan controversy

Prior to Boney Kapoor, Varun Dhawan was at the receiving end of criticism after he picked up Gigi in his arms, spun her and then planted a kiss on her cheek. The netizens were worried for the supermodel as she looked uncomfortable during the whole act. However, Varun later schooled a troll who mocked him for his act. He took to Twitter and wrote,“I guess today you woke up and decided to be woke. So lemme burst ur bubble and tell u it was planned for her to be stage so find a new Twitter cause to vent about rather then going out and doing something about things. Good morning.”

Apart from Gigi, Zendaya, Tom, Penelope Cruz and Law Roach were among the celebrities who had attended the NMACC launch event in Mumbai.
