New Netflix K-Drama: Kim Yoo Jung, Ahn Jae Hong, and Ryu Seung Ryong will all co-star in the upcoming drama “Dak Gang Jeong.” Netflix announced on September 30 that the three actors will appear in the upcoming drama adaptation of the webtoon “Dak Gang Jeong.” Cha Eun Woo from ASTRO was also previously reported to be in discussions for the drama, while no choice has been made on his offer.
“Dak Gang Jeong,” titled after a sweet and spicy Korean fried chicken dish, is a comedy about a mysterious contraption that converts individuals into fried chicken.
In the drama, Kim Yoo Jung will play Min Ah, a young woman who mistakenly transforms into fried chicken after misunderstanding the mysterious device for one that eases fatigue. Ahn Jae Hong will play his erratic intern Go Baek Joong, who has an unrequited crush on Min Ah, and Ryu Seung Ryong will play Min Ah’s father Choi Sun Man, who does everything in his power to return his daughter to human form.

Lee Byung Hun, who previously collaborated with Ryu Seung Ryong on the smash film “Extreme Job” and Ahn Jae Hong on the famous drama “Melo Is My Nature,” will direct “Dak Gang Jeong.”
