Bollywood’s dance queen, Nora Fatehi, is renowned for her amazing appearance and skillful talents. But popularity also means being constantly scrutinised by the paparazzi, and Nora isn’t hesitant to call them out on their somewhat invasive actions.
Calling Out the Double Standard
Nora Fatehi recently gave interview to News18 where she talked about how paparazzi’s generally zoom in on her physique. Nora said, “I guess they have never seen a b*tt like that before. It is what it is. The media doesn’t just do it to me but to other female actors also. Maybe they don’t zoom into their b*tt because it’s not exciting but they zoom into their other body parts unnecessarily. Sometimes, I think that there’s nothing to zoom into, so what are they focusing on?”
Nora’s confidently expressed her views and further added, “I’m blessed with a good body and I’m proud of it and my assets, I’m not ashamed of it.”
Media Frenzy vs Self-assured
She acknowledges that the media plays the social media game, focusing on what gets clicks and trends. But Nora chooses not to let it get to her. “Their intention behind zooming in might be wrong, but that’s a separate conversation,” she says. “I can’t change them, but I can still move around the way I move and be confident in my own skin.”
Nora’s Presence on Big Screen
Actor Kunal Kemmu made his directorial debut with Nora’s most recent film, “Madgaon Express,” which got favourable reviews. However, it’s evident that Nora Fatehi is utilising her position to address significant concerns that prominent women confront in addition to her attention to the big screen.
