Dancing sensation Nora Fatehi often steals people’s attention with her excellent dance talent. Recently, Nora, who grabbed headlines for her impeccable dance skills, once again hogged the limelight with her electrifying performance at International Indian Film Academy Awards (IIFA) 2023. She has paid tribute to yesteryear dancer and actress Helen on the stage of IIFA. Some glimpses of Nora’s performance are going viral on the internet. She performed on Helen’s famous songs ‘Piya Tu’ and ‘Aaj Ki Raat’ which won a lot of appreciation from the Viewers. Recently, Nora talked about her dance performance in an interview. She expressed her desire to play Helen in the biopic.

In an interview with BBC Asian Network, Nora revealed that she watched Helen’s dance videos before performing at IIFA. In the dance video, she paid attention to the smallest detail. She said, “I really studied all her videos properly, even the breathing spaces of the shoulder movements, the hands and just the aura! I had to be feminine, I had to be poised, I had to be very flirty and I had to own it.”
Nora Fatehi to be a part of Helen’s biopic?
When asked by an interviewer if she would be a part of Helen’s biopic, Nora was quick to say, “Of course that would be an honour! I mean if the filmmakers ever think of me, because I feel like we have so many similarities. She came from a different country, I did, it was tough for both of us, we were introduced to the world through dance and that too in a different genre of dance. We changed what dance meant in cinema. If anyone would need to embody that and really show what that emotion is, I think I would really be able to connect with that. But of course, it would be an honour.”
Nora Fatehi has often told that she idolized Helen and expressed her affection for towards her several times.
