Oonchi Oonchi Waadi Song: Bollywood’s beloved action hero, Akshay Kumar, surprises fans by morphing into Lord Shiva in the freshly released song ‘Oonchi Oonchi Waadi’ from his soon-to-be-released film, OMG 2. Adding depth to the song’s religious undertones is Pankaj Tripathi, the on-screen anxious father of a school-going child, seeking divine intervention.
Emotional Rollercoaster ‘Oonchi Oonchi Waadi’
This melodious composition has been crafted by the combined efforts of Hansraj Raghuwanshi, Djstrings and Raahi, and beautifully sung by Raghuwanshi himself. With evocative lyrics by Kabeer Shukla, Hansraj Raghuwanshi and Djstrings, the song serves as a poignant Shiv bhajan. It portrays Pankaj Tripathi’s character as a dedicated devotee of Lord Shiva, dedicating his leisure to singing hymns at the temple and conducting prayer rituals at home.
A Divine Solution to Earthly Problems
As the story unfolds, Pankaj’s on-screen son struggles to adapt to a new school environment, causing distress to his father. Coming to their aid is Akshay Kumar in his divine role, providing both father and son with the strength to face their challenges. However, the song ends on a cliffhanger with a scene of the son attempting suicide, leaving the audience wondering about his fate.
OMG 2, a Sequel with a Divine Twist
This song marks an exciting peek into the sequel of the highly appreciated 2012 film ‘OMG: Oh my God’, where Akshay Kumar assumed a role inspired by Lord Krishna. Directed by Amit Rai, OMG 2 also features Yami Gautam as a lawyer. The film promises to be a battle of truth, set to captivate audiences on August 11, clashing with the release of ‘Gadar 2’ featuring Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel.
