Last year, Jose Pellissery’s directorial Malayalam film Jallikattu was sent to the Oscars. However, the film could not make it to the final list of the Oscar jury. Significantly, in the year 2022, the Oscars will be held on March 27.
Talking about the Sherni, it is a film directed by Amit V Masurkar, in which Vidya Balan tries to catch a man-eating tiger as a forest officer.
On the other hand, Vicky Kaushal’s Sardar Udham is made under the direction of Shoojit Sircar. The film tells the story of Sardar Udham Singh who shot a British officer in retaliation for the Jallianwala Bagh massacre of 1919.
