Oscars 2023: As India waits with bated breath, RRR song Naatu Naatu took over the Oscars 2023 stage. A live performance on the song by Naatu Naatu singers Rahul Sipligunj and Kaala Bhairava pepped up the audience as the LA dancers burned the dance floor at Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles.
The audience enjoyed every moment of the performance Team RRR including director SS Rajamouli and actors Ram Charan and Jr NTR cheered the singers at the highly anticipated 95th Academy Awards ceremony.
Naatu Naatu at Oscars 2023
Everyone was eagerly waiting for the Naatu Naatu act at the Oscars 2023 ever since the Academy announced that singers Rahul Sipligunj and Kaala Bhairava will be performing live. And when the time came they wowed the who’s who of Hollywood by singing the much-loved song.
The Academy Twitter handle announced on February 28 that Naatu Naatu will be performed live on the Oscars stage. Original singers of the song Rahul Sipligunj and Kaala Bhairava had been practicing for weeks. And it was indeed a goosebump moment the singers took over the stage. The American actor-dancer Lauren Gottlieb showed her exemplary moves as she danced on the song.
Big feat for India
It was a big feat for India and though the fabulous chemistry of Jr NTR and Ram Charan was missing, the crowd enjoyed the performance to the fullest.
Rahul Sipliganj and Kaala Bhairava took 2,5 minutes to sing live Naatu Naatu on the Oscars stage. MM Keeravaani conducted the piece. Rickey Minor is the music director for the 2023 Oscars and Keeravaani worked with him for the Naatu Naatu piece.
We all are keeping our fingers crossed hoping that the track wins the Best Song award.
