OTT Releases this month: The Over-the-top (OTT) platforms have been the favourite of the audience because they give the opportunity of getting entertained to the audience while feeling comfortable at their homes. Movies from every industry are released on OTT platforms after being released in the theatres and the audience witnesses the performance of their famous stars on the screens of their mobile phones, tablets or laptops. Night Swim: Based on the 2014 short film of the same name by McGuire and Rod Blackhurst, Night Swim is an American supernatural horror film written and directed by Bryce McGuire (in his feature directorial debut). Gavin Warren, Wyatt Russell, Kerry Condon, and Amélie Hoeferle play a family whose backyard swimming pool is haunted in the movie. It will be released on January 5.
The Painter: American action thriller The Painter, written and directed by Brian Buccellato, stars Kimani Ray Smith. Madison Bailey, Marie Avgeropoulos, Jon Voight, and Charlie Weber are the main actors. It will also be released on January 5.
Animal: The film stars Ranbir Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, Bobby Deol, and Tripti Dimri. It features the story of a father-son duo which is directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga. It will be released on January 25.
Miller’s Girl: American drama film Miller’s Girl was written and directed by Jade Halley Bartlett. Jenna Ortega and Martin Freeman play student and instructor Jonathan and Cairo, respectively, in the movie. Following a creative writing project, they get into a toxic relationship. It will be released on January 26.
Kalki 2898 AD: Nag Ashwin is the writer and director of the upcoming Indian epic science fiction dystopian film Kalki 2898 – A.D., while C. Aswani Dutt of Vyjayanthi Movies is the producer. Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, and Disha Patani are among the ensemble cast members in the movie. It will be released on January 12.
The Beekeeper: Kurt Wimmer and David Ayer are the writers and directors of the upcoming American action thriller The Beekeeper. Jason Statham, Josh Hutcherson, Bobby Naderi, Minnie Driver, Phylicia Rashad, Jeremy Irons, and Emmy Raver-Lampman are among the actors who star in it. It will be released on January 12.
Mean Girls: Who could forget the legendary Mean Girls? But this time, the show will end with a musical interpretation. With Angourie Rice, Reneé Rapp, Auli’i Cravalho, Christopher Briney, Tina Fey, and Tim Meadows, take in the updated classic. This will be released on January 8.
The Book of Clarence: This captivating story is brought to life by a star-studded cast that includes Benedict Cumberbatch, Eric Kofi-Abrefa, LaKeith Stanfield, Omar Sy, RJ Cyler, Anna Diop, David Oyelowo, Michael Ward, Alfre Woodard, Teyana Taylor, Caleb McLaughlin, James McAvoy, and Marianne Jean-Baptiste. It will be released on January 12.
I.S.S: The 2023 American science fiction thriller film I.S.S. is written and directed by Nick Shafir and Gabriela Cowperthwaite. Ariana DeBose, Chris Messina, Maria Mashkova, Costa Ronin, and Pilou Asbaek are among the actors who appear in the movie. It will be released on January 19.
