Salman Khan: Mumbai Police have received yet another death threat targeting Bollywood superstar Salman Khan. This recent message, reportedly sent by someone claiming to be Lawrence Bishnoi’s brother, demands that the actor either apologises at their temple or pays ₹5 crore. If Salman fails to meet these conditions, the threat warns, his life is at risk. Police are actively searching for the person behind the message, while Salman Khan’s security has been further strengthened.
Police Investigate Lawrence Bishnoi’s Connection
In response to the threat, Mumbai Police have intensified their probe into its origins. They are examining whether the message has a direct link to Lawrence Bishnoi, who is currently in jail on serious charges, including attempted murder and extortion. The police are also exploring if there are connections to other recent threats against Salman Khan.
Past Threats and Ransom Demands for Salman Khan
This is not the first time Salman Khan has received such a threat. Just last month, he was approached by an unknown person who demanded a ₹2 crore ransom. Authorities arrested a 20-year-old man from Noida, Mohammad Tayyab, also known as Gurfan Khan, for his involvement in a similar case concerning Salman and NCP MLA Zeeshan Siddique.
In another incident, Mumbai’s traffic police received a WhatsApp message demanding ₹5 crore from the actor. Following an investigation, a man from Jamshedpur was detained in connection with this threat.
Previous Attacks on Salman Khan by the Bishnoi Gang
Salman Khan has been targeted by Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang before. Earlier this year, suspected members of the gang opened fire outside his Bandra residence. Recently, the Navi Mumbai police uncovered a plot by the Bishnoi gang to assassinate Salman, leading to heightened security around the actor.
