Fans loved Bo-Young and Hyung-Sik in Strong Woman Do Bong-soon. And now they will reunite afte 2017 for a special appearance in the upcoming JTBC drama.
Actors have finished filming
The actors have already finished filming for their appearances, according to OSEN. Strong Woman Gangnam-soon depicts the story of three generations of mother and daughter, who are naturally gifted with tremendous strength, as they uncover the reality of new drug crimes taking place around Gangnam.
The spin-off has a star-studded cast of Lee Yu-mi, Kim Jung-Eun, Kim Hae-sook, Ong Seong-wu, and Byun Woo-Seok, among others.
Strong Woman Do Bong-soon follows love triangle
Strong Woman Do Bong-soon aired in 2017 and received lot of love for its totally fresh take on female leads in a Korean drama. Its spin-off Strong Woman Do Bong-soon follows the love triangle between three unlikely characters. Chaos begins when Do Bong-soon (Park Bo-young), who is naturally gifted with incredible strength, meets Ahn Min-hyeok (Park Hyung-sik), who has never seen anyone like her in the world. They find themselves entangled with gangsters, an unlikely villain, and law enforcement. Do Bong-soon wants to make sure her secret strength remains undiscovered by her childhood friend and police officer In Guk-doo (Ji Soo), who has a sense of justice. But actually it is not as easy as it seems.
Gangnam-soon filming is now complete. However, it is not yet clear what characters Park Bo-young and Park Hyeong-sik will be playing.
However, their fans are already excited. They loved the duo in Strong Woman Do Bong-soon as their chemistry was unmissable. Fans hope they will bring back the same magic in the spin-off Strong Woman Gangnam-soon.
The new drama is set to air in the first half of this year.
