Pathaan trailer: Shah Rukh Khan starrer Pathaan is one of the most-anticipated films of the year. Touted as the biggest actions spectacle of the Hindi film industry yet, Pathaan marks Shah Rukh Khan’s return to the silver screen after a four-year-long hiatus post the failure of his 2018 film Zero. Now, all eyes are on Pathaan, and to add to fans’ excitement, Shah Rukh Khan on Monday announced trailer release date. He also shared a new poster of the film.
Shah Rukh Khan announces Pathaan trailer release date
Shah Rukh Khan on Monday made the most exciting announcement. Taking to his social media handles, SRK revealed that the trailer of the film will be released on January 10, that is, tomorrow. The rumours of Pathaan trailer releasing on January 10 have been doing rounds for quite some time now and the same has been confirmed. Along with trailer release date, Shah Rukh Khan also shared a new poster of the Pathaan.
The poster features Shah Rukh Khan in a rugged avatar with a gun and handcuffs. He has intense expressions on his face as he sports long hair. Sharing the poster, SRK wrote, “Thank you for waiting….ab Pathaan ki mehfil mein aa jao… #PathaanTrailer out TOMORROW at 11 AM! Celebrate #Pathaan with #YRF50 only at a big screen near you on 25th January. Releasing in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.” Check out below:
Pathaan controversy
Despite Shah Rukh Khan stating Pathaan is a patriotic film at its core, there has been several controversies related tot he film. Pathaan’s first song Besharam Rang wasn’t welcomed with open arms by the audience, with many alleging obscenity. Additionally, Pathaan song Besharam Rang also garnered controversies for Deepika Padukone wearing saffron bikini.
Directed by Sidharth Anand, Pathaan will release in theatres on January 25. The film also stars Deepika Padukone and John Abraham in leading roles.
