Shah Rukh Khan has millions of followers around the world, including acclaimed Brazilian novelist Paulo Coelho, whose best-selling work The Alchemist was initially published in Portuguese in 1988. In his writing career, he has written over 25 books. On Thursday, February 2, Paulo took to Twitter and reshared a video of Shah Rukh Khan embracing his fans outside Mannat following the success of his recent film Pathaan.
Paulo Coelho praised Shah Rukh Khan
Sharing the picture on his Twitter account, Paulo Coelho wrote in the caption, “King. Legend . Friend. But above all GREAT ACTOR (for those who don’t know him in the West, I strongly suggest “My name is Khan- and I am not a terrorist)”
This is not the first time the novelist has lauded Shah Rukh and his film My Name Is Khan. On the seventh anniversary of the Karan Johar-directed drama, Paulo said, “My name is Khan, and I am not a terrorist.” Congratulations @iamsrk for the 7th anniversary of this fantastic movie!”.
Along with the same he tweeted a screenshot applauding Shah Rukh’s performance in the film and claimed that he deserved an Oscar “if Hollywood was not corrupted”. The superstar then replied to Coelho’s tweet, writing, “Thank you so much. My next adventure will be to try to meet you in person. Love and best wishes.”
