Pawan Singh: Bhojpuri singer and film star Pawan Singh’s divorce case from second wife Jyoti Singh is now in the family court of Ballia district. Jyoti has filed a suit in the family court for maintenance. The court has ordered the singer to appear on November 5. This is Pawan Singh’s second marriage.
Pawan Singh Divorce Case
The Lollypop Lagelu singer has been asked to appear before the court on November 5. This is the fourth time in his divorce case that the Bhojpuri superstar has been summoned by the court. After much speculations for months, it was reported last month that the actor has been seeking divorce from his second wife. While the actor hasn’t confirmed the reason of his separation, rumours are rife that Jyoti sought divorce after constant physical and mental assault at his hands.
According to a DNA report, Jyoti’s lawyer told media Pawan forced Jyoti for abortion twice. Not only that, he would also get violent on his wife quite often. The Bhojpuri star is yet to respond to the allegations.
Marriage
Pawan Singh and Jyoti tied the knot in 2018 in a lavish ceremony. Their wedding was a star-studded event with many bigwigs of the industry in attendance.
First Wife
The Bhojpuri star was previously married to Neelam Singh. The couple had a love marriage in 2014. However, things took an unexpected turn when Neelam committed suicide just after three months of wedding. While the reason of her suicide is unknown, Pawan Singh was at the centre of controversy back then. Post Neelam’s death, he was associated with many actresses.

Pawan is now linked with Bhojpuri actor Smriti Sinha. The two have collaborated on multiple projects, delivering some of the biggest hits of Bhojpuri cinema. While many considered Smriti the reason of her divorce, she declined all the rumours calling them malicious.
