Phone Bhoot Review: Katrina Kaif and Ishan Khatter starrer new movie has hit the cinemas today. If trends are to be believed, there is currently little hope for horror movies in Bollywood as last few have proven to be flop. However, the new subgenre of horror comedy is significantly gaining popularity. Bhoot Police, Bhool Bhulaiya 2, Stree, and Golmaal Again, four recent horror comedies, were all warmly praised and were commercially successful as well. Through the horror comedy Phone Bhoot, Bollywood, which has for a long time been affected by flop movies because of terrible scripts, has now tried some new things.
Around what the film ‘Phone Bhoot’ revolves around?
A new age comedic phone called Bhoot was created by director Gurmeet Singh, who has worked on such successful comedies as Mubarakan and the OTT smash Mirzapur as both a writer and director. As a result of Katrina Kaif and the young actors Ishaan Khattar and Siddhant Chaturvedi, the movie is targetting children. As a result, many young people are showing up to see the movie on the first day. However, Gurmeet also kept them amused by offering them a delicious concoction of fear and humour.
