In the Pornography Video Case, Raj Kundra, husband of Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty, has been restrained from arrest for four weeks by the Supreme Court. Along with this, the court has issued a notice to the Maharashtra government and sought a reply.
In fact, in November, the Bombay High Court rejected the anticipatory bail plea of Raj Kundra, who was trapped in the pornography video case. Kundra had approached the Supreme Court against him. Dismissing the petition, Justice Nitin Sambre gave the accused four weeks to approach the Supreme Court.
The Bombay High Court had rejected the anticipatory bail plea of six others along with Kundra. These include the names of Sherlyn Chopra and Poonam Pandey. Three other people Umesh Kamat, Subhojit Chaudhary and Sam Ahmed are also accused in this case.
Kundra had said in the petition filed in the High Court that the videos were erotic but do not show any physical or sexual activity. He said that he was not involved in making or broadcasting such videos. He claimed that he has been falsely implicated in the case.

Raj Kundra was arrested in July this year in the porn video case. Raj was accused of making porn films and showing them on an app called Hot Shots. Raj Kundra was granted bail in September after spending nearly two months in jail. A case has been registered against Raj Kundra under sections 292, 293 of the Indian Penal Code and sections 66E, 67, 67A of the IT Act.
