Prabhas and Kriti Sanon starrer ‘Adipurush’ was one of the much-anticipated films of 2023 but the makers received a lot of trolling for the bad VFX and inappropriate dialogues. The whole cast and team members were boycotted on social media. However, Adipurush received an unbelievable response at the box office on the first day but the people realized soon that it was not worth it. The multi-starrer film was released on OTT platforms Netflix and Amazon Prime Video.
Adipurush makes OTT debut
Adipurush made headlines for all the bad reasons as the film faced a lot of trolling and boycotts on social media since its release but the film also received a milestone. Adipurush became the first film to release on two OTT platforms at the same time in some years. Netflix India wrote while sharing the post, “Witness a tale that transcends time Dekhiye #Adipurush in Hindi sirf Netflix par.”
They posted a poster of the film that featured the whole cast of the film. However, Adipurush received a lot of hate but the OTT release of the film is receiving a good response. Directed by Om Raut, Adipurush featured the star-studded cast of Prabhas, Kriti Sanon, Devdatta Naga, Saif Ali Khan, Vatsal Seth, and Sunny Singh in pivotal roles. The film was made on a budget of ₹500 crore.
