New Delhi: Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas are currently enjoying their newfound parental status. Maltie Marie Jonas Chopra was born to the couple via surrogacy in January of this year. Although the celebrity parents have decided to keep her away from social media and the paparazzi for the time being, PeeCee and Nick frequently post photos of their child with her face hidden for the time being. In related news, the Baywatch actress recently posted two adorable photos of her daughter Malti Marie on her Instagram account. The baby’s face is, predictably, obscured in the photographs.
In the first image, they can be seen twinning in white outfits. In the next image, Priyanka can be seen playing with her daughter. Sharing the post, the 40-year-old actress captioned it as: “Love like no other,” followed by a heart emoticon. Soon after she shared the post, her industry friends flooded the comment section. Kareena Kapoor commented, “PC and her baby…(heart emoticons) Biggestt hug.” Check out the pictures below:
On the work front, Priyanka Chopra is gearing up for her next Hollywood project, which has an Indian component. The actress will appear in a romantic comedy in which she will play a Punjabi woman. Priyanka will co-star with Mindy Kaling. This is their first time working together. In an interview with Forbes, Kaling explained why her chemistry with Chopra is so enjoyable “I’m working on a film with Priyanka Chopra, who is a Punjabi Indian from India, and I’m an Indian American Bengali girl from the East Coast. It’s so unique, and it’s what makes our dynamic so enjoyable.”
Priyanka’s Citadel will be released soon as well. The Citadel franchise, starring Richard Madden and Priyanka Chopra, is an action-packed spy series with compelling emotional angles. Amazon is funding the project, which will be directed by the Russo Brothers of Avengers fame. Its Indian series will be created by The Family Man’s Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK. Citadel was described as a “multi-layered global franchise with interconnected local language productions from India, Italy, and Mexico” by its creators. Amazon referred to the US version as the project’s “mothership.” The Citadel shoot was completed in June 2022.
