Pushpa 2: Allu Arjun served a high dose of entertainment with his last offering Pushpa: The Rise. The actor forayed into the PAN-India space with the Sukumar directorial. Also starring Rashmika Mandanna and Fahaadh Faasil, the pandemic-era film made a staggering profit not only down south, but in the northern belt as well. Pushpa: The Rule or Pushpa 2, the final instalment of the two-part franchise, went on floors last year in August. As fans wait for Puhspa 2 with bated breath, here’s a low down of all the updates related to the film.
Pushpa 2 shooting
The shooting of the film began in October, 2022. However, Allu Arjun joined full-fledged shoot on December 12. So far, two schedules of the film have been completed in Hyderabad and Vizag. Initially, Pushpa 2 was scheduled to release in 2022, but due to delay in film’s shooting, it has now been pushed to 2023.
Allu Arjun’s look in Pushpa 2
Allu Arjun will be reprising his role as Pushparaj in the film. Sporting messy beard and unkept hair, actor’s look in the part 1 grabbed quite some eyeballs for its raw portrayal. In the second part too, the actor is expected to don a rugged avatar. While makers are yet to a drop an official poster, last year, film’s cinematographer Miroslaw Kuba Brozek took to Instagram to share a picture of Allu Arjun from sets. “Adventure has begun. After the shooting of Pushpa 2 was stalled last year, there has been a delay in release of the trailer of the film. But, here’s a piece of good news to the fans. According to a Pinkvilla report, actor will be sharing some exciting news to fans on his 41st birthday. The actor will reportedly share first glimpse of the film on April 8.
“Allu Arjun wants to make his birthday special for his fans and so, he has decided to release the first teaser look or a small glimpse on his birthday, to be decided depending on the final output,” a source close to the development told the publication.

Pushpa 2 release date
Pushpa 2 is expected to release this summer. As per several media reports, makers are eyeing for a June release. An announcement for the same will be made along with the trailer release.
