Queen of Tears: Kim Soo Hyun and Kim Ji Won are now confirmed to lead in the upcoming drama Queen of Tears (working title). The actors’ pairing was confirmed by Studio Dragon earlier today. The drama has been written by Park Ji Eun who is known for writing critically acclaimed dramas including Crash Landing On You and My Love From The Star among others.

Kim Soo Hyun and Kim Ji Won are now officially a part of Queen of Tears. On December 5th, the storyteller group Studio Dragon said, “The production of Park Ji Eun’s new work, The Queen of Tears (tentative title) has been confirmed. We will bring you joy and emotion.”
Queen of Tears is penned by Park Ji Eun, the writer of the hit dramas “My Love From the Star” and Producer and helmed by director Jang Young Woo. Park Ji Eun and Jang Young woo have previously worked together on drama Crash Landing on You starring Son Ye Jin and Hyun Bin.

Reuniting with Park Ji Eun, Kim Soo Hyun, who previously appeared in “My Love From the Star” and “Producer,” will play the lead role of Baek Hyun Woo, with Kim Ji Won playing his wife Hong Hae In.
