Raj Kundra: Shilpa Shetty’s husband and businessman Raj Kundra fially took his mask off and stepped out in Mumbai without hiding his face in front of media. He was leaving a party on Saturday night when he did not hide his face behind with a mask.
Raj was dressed in all-black, which included breezy pants and an oversized shirt. He also sported yellow sunglasses. This was the the first time when Raj came out in front of paparazzi, without wearing a mask.
Raj wears a helmet
Even last month when Shamita Shetty turned a year older, Raj did not show his face. At Shamita’s birthday party, Kundra caught everyone’s attention as he arrived wearing a helmet. Shamita is Raj’s wife Shilpa’s sister.
In a video shared on social media, Raj was seen arriving in a black T-shirt with white jacket to Shamita’s party. He also sported a silver helmet with matching shoes. While his head was covered, only his eyes were visible. After arriving, Raj did not stop for photographers and straight went inside. The photographers, who had been waiting outside for long, felt disappointed. They called his name several time but he didn’t stop. He took the helmet off only after entering the venue.
Pornography case
Raj was involved in an alleged pornography case in 2021. He was arrested in the case. He got bail after two months in jail. Last year the Supreme Court granted him and four others, including Sherlyn Chopra and Poonam Pandey, anticipatory bail in the case.
However, Raj has maintained a low profile since his bail and always wore a mask whenever he stepped out. Last year, he reacted to the case in a rare social media post. Sharing a picture of himself, Raj wrote, “One year today released from Arthur Road (jail). It’s a matter of time Justice will be served! The truth will be out soon! Thank you well-wishers and a bigger thank you to the trollers you make me stronger (folded hands emoji).”
