Newly married couple Rajkummar Rao and Patralekhaa tied the knot on Monday in Chandigarh. The couple’s wedding was an intimate event attended by close friends and family. Meanwhile, their wedding reception in evening was a gala affair with Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar in attendance.
The chief minister took to his official Twitter handle to share a picture with the couple, showering them with the best wishes for their married life. “Attended the wedding ceremony of Bollywood’s famous actors Rajkumar Rao and Patralekha in Chandigarh, wished the bride and groom blessings and a successful married life,” he wrote.

Earlier, sharing pictures from the wedding, Patralekhaa wrote, “I got married to my everything today; my boyfriend, my partner in crime, my family, my soulmate…My best friend for the last 11 years! There is no greater feeling than to be your wife! Here’s to our forever,” she wrote.
Rajkummar shared two different photos and wrote, “Finally after 11 years of love, romance, friendship and fun, I got married to my everything today, my soulmate, my best friend, my family. Today there is no greater happiness for me than being called your husband @patralekhaa Here’s to forever .. and beyond.”
The couple had featured together in critically acclaimed film ‘Citylights’.
