Rakhi Sawant’s husband, Adil Khan Durrani, was arrested by the Oshiwara Police on Monday following a complaint registered by the actress. In her complaint, Rakhi claimed that things between her and Adil had not been going well. After she registered FIR against Adil, he was taken into custody on the morning of February 7. Rakhi has claimed that Adil tried to hit her.

Rakhi Sawant’s husband Adil Khan Durrani was taken to the Oshiwara Police station on Tuesday following a complain by the former Bigg Boss contestant. An official investing the case told India Today, “We have arrested Adil this morning. Right now, we are following the procedure. Rakhi had filed an FIR. We would be able to comment only after the investigation. We had been trying to find Adil for the past two days. Whatever complaints Rakhi has are being verified currently.”

Rakhi was seen in a distressed look outside the police station. She told paparazzi that Adil had come to her house and tried to hit her. She said, “Aj subah who mujhe maarne aaya tha, mere ghar pe. Maine turant Police ko call kiya. (Today morning, he came to my house to hit me. I immediately called the police).” She also added, “He had come to meet me in the morning without saying anything and started coercing me. I had already filed a case against Adil twice but never mentioned it in front of the media. The police had also spoken to Adil at that time. During that time , a non-cognizable offence was written. It was converted into an FIR last night.”
When asked why was she seen having dinner with him despite the allegations, Rakhi said, “Adil had suddenly come there to apologise to me. I didn’t even want to talk to him, but he started feeding me at the behest of he media there. But we haven’t talked.”
Rakhi further added that she now wants to divorce Adil. “Now, I do not want to make any kind of compromise with Adil. I just can’t live with a man who sleeps with so many girls. I wanted him to apologize and leave Tanu (the girl who Adil allegedly cheated with) and come to me. But that person is not loyal. So, I have decided that I have to get a divorce now,” she said.

Rakhi Sawant and Adil Khan Durrani had tied the knot in June last year, but only revealed it in January. While Adil had initially called it false, he finally shared pictures from court marriage with Rakhi.
