Ranbir Kapoor was basking on the success of his recently released film Animal and he was receiving a lot of appreciation for his performance. But now, the actor made headlines for all the wrong reasons as a complaint was filed against the actor over the viral video of the Kapoor family’s Christmas lunch. A complaint was filed against Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor and his family members at the Mumbai Ghatkopar police station for allegedly offending religious feelings about a video that included their Christmas party. The actor is shown in the film pouring alcohol over a cake and setting it on fire while saying, “Jai Mata Di,” according to the complainant, Sanjay Tiwari.
No FIR has been registered against Ranbir Kapoor
According to Tiwari, Kapoor and his family purposefully drank alcohol to celebrate a different religious festival while simultaneously celebrating the festival of another religion. Additionally, Tiwari claims that the fire deity is customarily invoked before other deities in Hinduism. He said that his religious feelings were offended by the act of putting the cake on fire and chanting “Jai Mata Di.” As of right now, no First Information Report (FIR) has been filed in this case.
