Harman Singha opens up about his casting
Rannvijay Singha’s brother Harman Singha revealed his audition and casting in Karan Johar’s film. While talking about his casting in the film in a recent interview he said that he didn’t know what it was for at the time of the screen test. All he was told was that he had to play a character that resembled people from the past. So he sent a photo of him wearing a blue blazer, holding a medal and his hair tied back, and Karan Johar’s team finished the photo the same day.
The actor elaborated further, adding that the team wasn’t sure they would find someone as close to Dharmendra Ji’s younger look. When he sent a picture the team sent it to Dharmendra and the he-man liked it very much. The veteran actor even wanted to meet Harman in person. So, in his opinion, it wasn’t planned and people didn’t realize it until much later. He told The Hindustan Times that he hopes someone will shoot a biopic of Dharmendra and cast him.
Harman shares his desire of working
Harman also talked about how his brother was always there to support him and stand by him. According to Harman, Rannvijay gave him confidence. And now he wants to work great with directors like Hansal Mehta, Shujit Sirkar and Vidhu Vinod Chopra.
