Ranveer Singh: A video of Martin Brundle and Ranveer Singh at the Formula 1 race in Abu Dhabi ha surfaced online and has also gained much attention. Following the former racing driver and commentator’s confession that he had “momentarily” overlooked who Ranveer was while interviewing him, several social media users commended the actor for his skillful and efficient handling of the situation.
Ranveer attended the 2022 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix on Sunday and posted videos of it on Instagram Stories. He was previously seen on Saturday attending an awards ceremony in Dubai. On a video that has gone viral on social media, the actor is seen introducing himself after Martin Brundle asks him to.
What actually happened between the two?
When Martin asked Ranveer how he was doing, on camera when they first spoke at the event, the actor responded, “On top of the world. I can feel the exhilaration and adrenaline.”
After this, Martin told Ranveer that “I have momentarily forgotten who you are, can you tell me please.” Responding to the question, Ranveer replied “I’m a Bollywood actor, sir. I hail from Mumbai, India. I am an entertainer.”
Throughout the conversation, Martin also praised Ranveer’s sense of fashion, saying of his printed yellow clothing, “The respect for that suit! Because that is punching.” To which Ranveer humorously replied, “You know the best thing, sir, I have to send it all back in the morning.” Watch the video here:
