Rashmika Mandanna banned in Karnataka?
Many media reports have claimed Rashmika Mandanna is facing a ban in the Kannada film industry. The information comes days after Kantara star Rishab Shetty subtly refused to work with Rashmika. Recently, an old interview of Rashmika went viral wherein she refused to take the name of the production company Paramvah Studios, co-founded by Rishab Shetty with his brother and her ex-fiance Rakshit Shetty. In the interview, she discussed her first role in Kirik Party, which made her an overnight star, but refrained from crediting the makers.

Meanwhile, during a recent interaction, Rishab Shetty was asked who among Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Rashmika Mandanna, Keerthy Suresh and Sai Pallavi he’d like to work with. In his response, the Kantara director and actor said, “I decide my actors once I finish my script. I prefer working with newcomers as they come with no barriers. These actors, I don’t like them (mai actors ko script likhne ke baad choose karta hoon, aur mujhe ‘is’ type ke actress, I don’t like them).”
Rashmika’s emotional post
Recently, Rashmika shared an emotional post on her Instagram handle, speaking about trolling and negative reports on things she hasn’t said. An excerpt from her long post read, “I have been on the receiving end of a lot of hate ever since I started my career. Quite literally a punching bag for a lot of trolls and negativity out there. It’s heart breaking and frankly quite demoralising when I’m being ridiculed and mocked by the internet especially for things that I Have Not Said.”

Rashmika Mandanna was last seen in Goodbye, which marked her Bollywood debut. She has a plethora of films to look forward to. The actor will be seen opposite Ranbir Kapoor in Animal and also has Mission Majnu alongside Sidharth Malhotra. She will also reprise her role in Allu Arjun starrer Pushpa 2.
