Malaika Arora age: Actor and television host Malaika Arora recently poured her heart out in a free wheeling chat with filmmaker and choreographer Farah Khan on former’s reality-show Moving In With Malaika. On a surprising note, Malaika Arora opened up about her relationship with her ex-husband Arbaaz Khan, a topic she has refrained from speaking about. While sharing the ordeals of her relationship with Arbaaz, Malaika said that she was ‘too young’ when she got married to the Dabangg actor. However, a reddit thread has claimed otherwise. Some users have even gone on to say the Chhaiya Chhaiya fame is lying about her age.

Is Malaika Arora lying about her age?
A reddit user claimed Malaika Arora has put a lot of ’emphasis that she was very young when she got married and was a young mother so she didn’ know what she was getting into when she married Arbaaz Khan.’
“But according to Wikipedia, her birth year is 1973. She married Arbaaz in 1998 which means she was 25 when she was got married,” the user said emphasising 25 was not a young age to get married back then. Malaika Arora had her son, Arhaan Khan, in 2002, at the age of 29. Reacting to this, the user further wrote, “to me this seems like a very normal age to marry and have a child. Then why the stress on ‘married young’ or ‘became a young mom’? Maybe at some point, she lied to make herself look older than her real age.. this is just speculation.”
Many users quipped in to comment on the topic, with one person writing, “She is exactly 50 years old as per her birthday date,” while another wrote, “She probably wants to portray as being young since she gets trolled for dating Arjun who is younger than her. Also, earlier they (Arbaaz and her ) did an interview where they stated she was 2 yrs older than him.” Another netizen wrote, “Getting married at 25 in 1998 would not have been considered getting married young back then.”
Meanwhile, some netizens also came out in her support. One person wrote, “She was relatively younger than her friends when she got married, that is why that is being stressed upon,” while another wrote, “Did she actually say a wrong number in regards to her age? Getting married at “25” can be considered marrying young in her circles.”
