Reel to Real, Stree 2 Actor Mushtaq Khan's Heroic Escape From Kidnappers Inspires

Stree 2 Actor Mushtaq Khan made a heroic escape after being held captive for 12 hours. In a conversation with India Today Digital, the actor's business partner said that the actor (popular for his role in Welcome and Stree 2) made a run for freedom after he heard the morning azan.

Stree 2 Actor Made a Heroic Escape

Mushtaq Khan was held captive and tortured for 12 hours somewhere near Bijnor. In that time, the kidnappers raised a demand for ₹1 crore as ransom. However after being held captive for that long, the actor made a decision to pull off a move often seen in films. Mushtaq's business partner Shivam, told India Today Digital that the actor ran for freedom after hearing the morning azan. He mentioned that the azan made Mushtaq think that there must be people nearby. He followed through with this thought and escaped. After escaping the kidnappers hideout, the actor asked around for help and was taken to a safe place.

How was Mushtaq Khan Kidnapped?

In the conversation, Shivam mentioned that Mustaq was invited to Delhi for an event. The actor didn't think much of the situation and believed the people because they sent him tickets and paid in advance. However, upon reaching the airport, the actor was driven to the outskirts of Delhi. There he was held hostage and tortured with the kidnappers demanding ₹1 crore from the actor.

For now, the actor has filed an FIR in Bijnor. Moreover, the actor claims to have all the proof against the kidnappers, from flight details to CCTV footage from the airport. However, Mushtaq is not the only public figure to find himself in this situation. Comedian Sunil Pal also shared similar fate with the Stree 2 actor after he was kidnapped on his way to Haridwar. Unlike Mushtaq, Sunil had to pay the kidnappers a reported ₹8 lakh ransom in exchange for his freedom.
