It is yet to get a confirmation from the police but the matter hints that it would have been a suicide because of financial struggles. Maharashtra MLA Mahesh Baldi send condolences to the family and told that the matter is been investigating by the police.

Nitin Desai was widely known for his exceptional talent and innovation in the field of art direction. His impressive portfolio encompassed successful collaborations with some of the most renowned filmmakers in the industry. Notably, he shared a special partnership with director Sanjay Leela Bhansali, crafting awe-inspiring sets for unforgettable movies like Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam and Bajirao Mastani.
From starting as a fourth assistant director on the TV show Tamas, Nitin Desai’s journey in the world of cinema was marked by remarkable achievements. He gained widespread recognition for his exceptional art direction in Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s 1994 film, 1942: A Love Story. His talents were later acknowledged on an international platform when he designed the sets for the critically acclaimed Slumdog Millionaire in 2008.
