Deepika has reportedly wrapped up her film commitments and is now cherishing her maternity leave. Meanwhile, Ranveer Singh is taking steps to ensure he can fully support Deepika and their newborn.
Ranveer to Take Paternity Leave for a Year
According to reports, Ranveer Singh is planning a one-year paternity leave to spend quality time with Deepika and their baby. This decision comes after a shift in his filming schedule. With a year-long break in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Baiju Bawra, Ranveer has opted to hold off on new projects until Don 3 and Shaktimaan. This frees him up to devote the coming months to his family.
The Power Couple’s Upcoming Films
Deepika and Ranveer both have exciting upcoming projects. Deepika will be seen alongside Prabhas and Amitabh Bachchan in the sci-fi film Kalki 2898 AD. Both Ranveer and Deepika will be seen in Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again. Fans got a glimpse of her character in the film’s look reveal last year. Deepika’s last outing was in Siddharth Anand’s Fighter with Hrithik Roshan.
Ranveer Singh is gearing up for Farhan Akhtar’s Don 3, where he’ll share screen space with Kiara Advani. Additionally, he’ll be portraying the superhero Shaktimaan in Aditya Dhar’s directorial venture. Ranveer was last seen entertaining audiences in Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani.
With their baby due in September, both Deepika and Ranveer seem to be prioritizing family time. Fans are eagerly awaiting the arrival of their little bundle of joy and their upcoming films!
