Punjabi singer Diljit Dosanjh created a frenzy among fans during his Dil-Luminati Tour in Hyderabad. On Friday, while performing at the GMR Arena, Diljit showcased his witty side by hilariously tweaking the lyrics of his songs to comply with the Telangana Government’s recent notice. The government had prohibited songs promoting alcohol, drugs, and violence at public events, leaving artists in a tight spot. However, Diljit turned the situation into a viral moment, spreading laughter and earning praise from fans.

Diljit Dosanjh’s Creative Twist Wins Hearts

Several videos from the Hyderabad concert are now circulating on social media. One such clip, shared by the official Instagram account of Dil-Luminati (@dil_luminatii), has particularly captured netizens’ attention. The video shows Diljit effortlessly modifying the lyrics of his popular track Lemonade. Instead of singing, “Tainu teri daaru ch pasand aa Lemonade,” he sang, “Tainu teri coke ch pasand aa Lemonade.”

Fans couldn’t get enough of his on-the-spot improvisation. Comments poured in, with one fan writing, “Right in the face of haters.” Another user remarked, “Why were they serving alcohol at the concert then? Govt’s hypocrisy at max.” A third commented, “Just love the way he is using words so carefully in his songs for people.” Meanwhile, one user humorously noted, “Telangana Government Crying Inside – Bhai Ye Kya Ho Gya Hmre Saath.”

Telangana Government’s Notice Sparks Debate

The Telangana Government had issued the notice through its District Welfare Officer, operating under the Department of Welfare of Women, Children, Disabled, and Senior Citizens. The action followed a complaint from a Chandigarh resident, who alleged that Diljit had previously performed songs promoting alcohol, drugs, and violence at a New Delhi concert. Video evidence was submitted as part of the complaint.

The notice was issued on Thursday, just a day before the Hyderabad concert, putting Diljit and his team on high alert. Despite the restrictions, the singer managed to turn the event into a memorable one, proving his knack for handling challenging situations with charm and creativity.
