RRR: Away from the Indian shores, RRR is creating history in the USA. The film has turned out to be one of the biggest Indian blockbusters of all time in the US. It has won many awards and is in line for many more. The film is in contention for the Oscars as its number Naatu Naatu is in the final list of nominations for the best song award.
One of the biggest re-releases
And now the stage is set for the grand re release of the Rajamouli directorial all across the country. As the RRR team keeps their fingers crossed with Oscars around the horizon, the film’s re release has garnered huge attention.
Ahead of the Oscars 2023 on March 12, SS Rajamouli’s RRR will hit the big screens again in the country on March 3 and the distributors have orchestrated the biggest re release for any Indian film here till date for the Ram Charan and NTR starrer. It will be screened in 200 theatres across the US.
Re-release in Telugu
According to the distributor Variance Films, RRR will be screened completely in Telugu, the original language. Netflix is the leading distributor of the film on streaming services, but the included version is not present in Telugu. Even back home in India, RRR is available in Hindi dubbed version on Netflix. Another OTT giant Zee5 offers the original version.
RRR is a fictional narrative of two revolutionists, who set to reunite forces and fight back for their freedom in the 1920s British rule. The film opened to critical and commercial applause from both Indian and Western crowds, and was re-released multiple times. The film turned into a tremendous Pan India blockbuster, as well as it was flooded with so much appreciation.
