Rupali Ganguly: TV actor Rupali Ganguly is overwhelmed to hear the news that an India in Kenya ahs adopted an elephant and named it after a character from her popular show Anupamaa.

Rupali Ganguly’s friend, Bhavana, has adopted an elephant in Kenya. It is named Mayan after a popular character from Anupamaa.

The actor was ecstatic and revealed how she came to know about this gesture from one of her friends and how it left her overwhelmed. Her show Anupamaa is extremely popular and has a massive fanbase. But little did the actor know that its viewership would cross borders only to inspire people living far away from home.

The show Anupamaa has an engaging storyline and is marked with some earnest performances.

Rupali has now reacted to this development and said that she is happy about it.

The actor, who plays the titular role in the show, expressed her joy. A paparazzo account shared a video where She revealed that her friend from Kenya has adopted an elephant and named it Mayan after a brave character from the television series.

She also added that she is overwhelmed by the news.

“I have always told I have a spirit of tiger, a soul of an elephant and a loyalty like a dog,” she said
