Today marks the 57th birthday of Bollywood superstar Salman Khan. Fans, family members, and friends have filled social media with kind wishes on his big day. Salman was seen addressing a throng of fans outside Bandra’s Galaxy Apartments on Tuesday evening, after celebrating his birthday with industry friends on Monday night. His fans flocked to his home, as they do every year. He was seen waving to his followers and thanking them for their support.

Salman’s supporters, who had been waiting for him for quite some time, went crazy as he strolled out onto the balcony to wave. Salim Khan, his father, was also spotted waving to the throng. Despite tight security, cops struggled to keep up with the large crowd. They were spotted performing a lathi charge as the audience cheered after watching Bhaijaan. The supporters were not permitted to be in the area of Galaxy Apartments due to death threats. Salman was also flanked by a large number of security personnel.

Salman received a death threat from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang following the murder of Sidhu Moosewala. In June, his father, famed writer Salim Khan, received a letter predicting that they will end up like Punjabi artist Sidhu Moosewala. On May 29, he was shot dead near Mansa, Punjab. Later, it was revealed that thugs had already attempted to assassinate Salman twice. They allegedly attempted to attack him twice, one outside his Bandra home during his birthday celebration in 2017 and again at his Panvel farmhouse in 2018. Following this, the Mumbai police increased Salman’s security. According to reports, the Maharashtra government later raised his security to Y+.
