Salman Khan House Firing: The firing case on April 14, 2024, at Bollywood actor Salman Khan’s home, has taken a significant turn. Mumbai Police claim that on Wednesday, Anuj Thapan, the accused in this case, committed himself while in the crime branch’s detention. Anuj was in serious condition when he was brought to a neighbouring hospital, but there was no chance of saving him.

Anuj was charged with giving weapons to Vicky Gupta and Sagar Pal, the two gunmen who opened fire on Salman Khan’s home, guns. He committed suicide, although the exact reason for his actions is still unknown. The cops are currently looking into the situation.

Who was Anuj Thapan?

Anuj Thapan was taken into custody from Punjab’s Abohar approximately five days ago. Sonu Kumar Bishnoi, another culprit, was also taken into custody in addition to Anuj Thapan. After learning about these two from their intelligence sources, the police detained and transported both of them to Mumbai. According to the Mumbai Crime Branch, Anuj Thapan fulfilled Anmol Bishnoi’s request and gave the pistol to Vicky Gupta and Sagar Pal. The claims that Anuj was delivering firearms, according to his attorney, were untrue.

There was gunfire at Salman Khan’s house at about 4 a.m. on April 14. Vicky Gupta and Sagar Pal, two shooters, allegedly carried out this incident at the request of Anmol Bishnoi, Lawrence Bishnoi‘s younger brother. For this task, they would receive an amount of Rs 4 lakh. Before firing, Vicky and Sagar conducted three to four house checks on Salman Khan. During the night of the firing, they were both given handguns to perform this task. The accused individuals who supplied the pistol were Anuj Thapan and Sonu Kumar Bishnoi.
