In the story she also mentions that Guns and Gulaabs is her favorite show. Samantha who has previously worked in the duo’s Amazon Prime Show Family Man had also expressed her love for the show when it initially aired.

The actress shared the post by the creator duo and wrote “My favourite show wins big.” However, this is not the first time she has expressed this. She had the same feelings regarding the series when it dropped in August 2023. Moreover, for those who don’t know, Samantha is no stranger to the duo. She has featured in Raj and DK’s Amazon Prime Series Citadel: Honey Bunny and the fan favorite Family Man.

In the recent Filmfare OTT Awards for 2024, Guns and Gulaabs by Raj and DK was nominated in 11 categories. These included, Best Series, Best Director, Series, Best Actor, Series (Male): Comedy, Best Supporting Actor, Series (Male): Drama, Best Dialogue, Series, Best Original Screenplay, Series, Best Cinematographer, Series, Best Production Design, Series, Best Editing, Series, Best Costume Design, Series, Best Background Music, Series, Best Sound Design (Series). Out of these eleven the series managed to win awards for the Best Original Screenplay (Raj and DK), Best Dialouges (Sumit Arora), Best Actor (Rajkummar Rao) and critics choice for Best series.
