Samantha Ruth Prabhu: South star Samantha Ruth Prabhu looked graceful and exuded confidence and charm at the trailer launch of Shaakuntalam on January 9. She also turned emotional and her eyes welled up at the event. However, after the event, a Twitter page shared a photo of the actor and said she had lost her glow and charm post Myositis diagnosis. The actor responded strongly to the tweet and gave a sassy reply, which won the hearts of everyone. Samantha is currently recovering.

Love for cinema
Speaking at the Shaakuntalam trailer launch, Samantha said her love for cinema will always grow come what may. Shaakuntalam is directed by Gunasekar and is set for release.
The actor looked gorgeous in a white saree at the event in Hyderabad. However, a Twitter page that shared a photo of her, wrote, “Feeling sad for Samantha! She lost all her charm and glow. When everyone thought she came out of divorce strongly and her professional life is seeing heights, Myositis hit her badly, making her weak again (sic).”

The actress gave a savage reply to the page and wrote, “I pray you never have to go through months of treatment and medication like I did ..
And here’s some love from me to add to your glow (sic).”
Samantha’s Shaakuntalam, directed by Gunasekhar, will grace the screens on February 17. The mythological drama will release in 2D and 3D. Apart from Shaakuntalam, she has Kushi with Vijay Deverakonda and Citadel with Varun Dhawan.
