Samantha Ruth Prabhu Health: Samantha is one of the most loved pan-India star. Rising to the top, Samantha won everyone over with her performance in Raj & DK’s The Family Man. Post this, the actor won heaps of praises for her item number Oo Antava with Allu Arjun. There were also reports of her making the actor her Bollywood debut. She was also speculated to star opposite Varun Dhawan in the Indian adaptation of Russo Brothers’ Citadel. However, the actor’s recent diagnosis with a rare disease myositis came as a setback for her. Now, several reports have suggested the actor is taking a break for a proper recovery.

Samantha recently revealed her diagnosis with myositis, adding that the condition does not have any fatal hazards on her health. However, she revealed the struggles of getting up in the morning due to weakening muscles. “A few months back I was diagnosed with an autoimmune condition called Myositis. I was hoping to share this after it had gone into remission. But it is taking a little longer than I hoped. I am slowly realising that we don’t always need to put up a strong front. Accepting this vulnerability is something that I am still struggling with. The doctors are confident that I will make a complete recovery very soon,” she wrote.
Samantha Ruth Prabhu to opt out of Citadel?
Several reports have suggested the Yashoda actor has walked of the Indian adaptation of Russo Brothers’ multi-series Citadel, which is being helmed by Raj & DK in India. Samantha was expected to co-star Varun Dhawan in the series. Recently, Variety revealed Varun Dhawan will be headlining Citadel in India. However, the piece nowhere mentioned Samantha’s involvement in the project, leading many to believe she has opted out of it.

Samantha was recently applauded for Yashoda in which she played the titular role. Up next, the actor will be seen in Kushi, co-starring Vijay Deverakonda.
